Typically you'll have your own personal fax number, so that anyone that gets your fax, or wants to fax you will see your fax number on the fax you send, or key in your fax number to send you a fax.

Some e-mail fax companies out there will allow you a trial period in the hope that you'll stay on as a long-term customer. Which is a good strategy.

E-Mail Fax Pricing
You'll find that e-mail faxing is quite cheap. You don't have to buy a fax or fax software, you don't have to install a fax line, or pay for ongoing fax line rentals that come with traditional faxes.

E-mail fax pricing may vary based on your usage and your requirements. Some have a per month fee, and some have a per fax fee.

E-Mail Fax Benefits
Because you fax via e-mail, you'll save on paper costs. And you're also doing your bit for tree conservation.

Without having to print out each fax (like a traditional fax would) you can view your fax online and make a decision about printing it out, filing it or deleting it.

I use a fax software program and I find the feature of viewing the fax before choosing to print it out very beneficial. It saves a LOT of paper.
